All activities are offered at no cost. Donations to the CEDAR Center are encouraged as a way to show appreciation.

Infant Massage
Did you know infant massage can improve sleep, help with digestion, and improve understanding of your babies' cues. Sharing massage with a child can provide the foundation for lifelong positive and loving relationships. Join Yvonne, a certified educator of infant massage, who will teach you a short infant massage routine that you can share with your baby at home. A small bottle of oil and handouts will be provided. Pre-event or On-site sign-up is encouraged but not required.
Nurturing Ways owner, Yvonne Hiebert, MSE, IMH-E®, CEIM, is an infant mental health specialist and certified educator of infant massage with more than 30 years of experience working with infants, young children, and their families in home- and center-based programs. Nurturing Ways offers in-home and occasional community-based infant massage instruction. For centuries, infant massage has been used in cultures all over the world.

Face Painting
The Black Earth Children’s Museum will be offering face painting throughout the day! Stop by their booth. Fun for all ages! On-site sign-up encouraged to avoid waiting in line.
The Black Earth Children’s Museum is a community-supported museum funded by our members and local donors. You can enjoy the over 50 handmade exhibits on a single floor of with no corporate logos to commercialize your experience. Come visit our always changing museum and become part of our caring community.

Edible Plant Walk
Rachel is a local horticulture and permaculture expert and owner of Daily Harvest Designs. Join Rachel on a gentle walk to learn about the amazing variety of edible plants that grow wild in our own backyards! No sign-up required.
Daily Harvest Designs encourages edible landscaping at home and in communities. We use creative solutions to help you make the least change for the greatest effect in your garden while addressing the overall flow and function of your space. We show you how to put your money into plants, not the structures that hold them. We strive to approach every opportunity with integrity, environmental awareness, and creativity.

Reiki Mini Session
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Join Christine for 20-minute mini-sessions, to see what healing gifts reiki has for you. On-site sign-up encouraged.
Christine, owner of Space to Remember, is a certified Reiki master with more than 15 years of experience providing spirit-guided transformational energy sessions. More recently, she has been dedicating her time to facilitating Reiki attunement courses to teach others how to tap into the Universal Life-force energy that is Reiki.

Preschool Art Activities
Stop by and visit Ms. Kacey at the Little Folk Art Studio Booth where your little artist can explore and create at a couple art play and process art stations! We’ll be pumpkin tinkering/decorating and working collaboratively on a large-scale canvas mural using anything but a paint brush. Come leave your mark! No sign-up required.
Oh, Hey Little Artist! Little Folk Art Studio is a mobile visual arts integration program that offers art play and process art-based classes to infants, toddlers and preschool children. It is founded on the belief that creative experiences are highly beneficial for the emotional, intellectual, and developmental growth of young children.
When a child comes to one of the Little Folk Art Play classes, they are stepping into a developmentally appropriate space where they are free to explore, discover and create by experimenting with art sensory activities and open-ended art invitations along with their peers and families.

Nature Scavenger Hunt
Lussier Family Heritage Center will provide reusable scavenger hunt cards and little prizes for anyone who completes them! No sign-up required.
The Lussier Family Heritage Center provides outdoor recreation and environmental education to Dane County Parks. This provides our community with access to the outdoors and space to explore.

The Verona Optimist Club is a voluntary organization of civic-minded men and women banded together for progressive thought and action in community service with special emphasis on service to youth in our community. Membership is composed of citizens drawn from business, industry, agriculture and other professions.

Pet a Puppy
Brown Paws Dog Rescue will have a number of dogs and puppies available for adoption at the Fall Festival. Stop by to experience how snuggling with a pup can make your day brighter. On-site sign-ups requested but not required.
Brown Paws Dog Rescue is a foster-based rescue and is 100% volunteer-run.

No Boots Required! This fun will be a fun and interactive way to move your body. This is a SHAME-FREE zone. It is not about looking good or getting the moves right. It is about finding JOY in community. Join Forte Studio’s instructor Abbi Topper in simple and easy to learn dances for all ages and abilities!
Forte Studios is a performing arts school that offers Dance, Voice and Acting. We offer a high-quality education in the arts in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
